I have lived in the Four Corners area for over forty years. Its beauty and diversity offer more inspiration than I can ever hope to thoroughly explore in my painting. I am certainly up to the challenge of trying though. I am a retired teacher who dabbled with art throughout my career and encouraged my students to always be creative. Now I have a new passion as an artist. I can’t wait to try new ideas and challenges. I love getting lost in the process of painting. I paint with oils, both plein air and in my studio. When my husband and I travel I am either taking photos or painting. I am so blessed to be able to experience the world through my art and the art of others. Life is good!
